So here I am at college. It's been about 3 weeks, but seriously it feels like I've been here for 3 months. I am definitely ready for thanksgiving break. School this year is a lot harder than last year! I am taking 6 classes and I have a real job. It is a lot, but if you know me, you know I like to busy. So I guess I should be super happy, because I feel super busy all the time now! Well, that's not entirely true, this week I had one or two moments when I didn't feel like I had to do anything. I actually had time to draw a picture! By the way, did I ever mention how difficult it is for me to be a science major at a predominantly art school, especially since I love art! I've tried to take art classes as electives before, but my school won't let me. It's like someone is waving chocolate in front of me all the time but won't let me eat it! Life Is Hard. But no, really things have been going well. In the beginning of the school year I felt pretty stressed, I mean all summer I had no school work and then as soon as I got here, I got loaded with work. Everyone thinks the first week of school is all fun and games. Well, not this year, the teachers went straight to work. One of my most interesting classes this semester is Anatomy & Physiology. This class is really cool but a little difficult because of all the memorization. I'm excited to be taking this class though because it actually applies to my major and will help me one day. I'm also taking an intriguing class called "Class, Gender, and Race". It really makes you think about society and why things are the way they are. We are reading a book called "A Different Mirror" which is about the history of America, but from the standpoint of all the minorities in America. It is really interesting and eye-opening. I have been slowly learning to cook since I don't have a meal plan this year. So far my culinary achievements have included scrambled eggs, grilled cheese, and oatmeal. I'm pretty impressed with myself, and it's all uphill from here. Also, my room is all decorated. It's looks pretty nice if you ask me. I put a big map on the wall so that I can dream about traveling. Every time I look at the map I get so excited because the world is so big and I can't wait to experience it! If you're wondering I don't know where my next trip will be to. But I'm already saving for it. I want to be ready when opportunity knocks!
Overall, I can say that life is good. P.S. It feels so good to write my thoughts and desires out on this blog. I hope to be able to do more ordinary posts like this in the future.

This past week I did a photo shoot and interview with Tori Radday, a fashionista at my school, Philadelphia University. She has a flourishing blog and was super fun to work with. It was such an honor to have her review my headbands and it was very fun taking the pictures for her blog. Check out the post she did!
