Here is a super quick update on our trip to Guyana. It has been so busy lately! This is the only free time I have had all week and I am exhausted! We have been doing so many awesome things on this trip!
So far we have been able to visit the girls orphanage, which is an amazing place! More details to follow later. We also have toured the capital of Guyana, Georgetown. It is an awesome place with a lot of history. We also sorted 100 pound bags of flour, cane sugar, and rice. This procedure took a couple of hours and ended with everyone sticky from the sugar and covered in flour! At night we minister at a church, where we help lead worship and then our pastor preaches. We also went up to a remote village called the Pomeroon today. It took two bus rides and two boat rides just to get there! We had a service there and provided food, toiletries, and flip flops! The trip has been amazing! So much is happening and it is very overwhelming, but I am so grateful for this opportunity! I will definitely share more details when I have more time! God Bless!
